ATIVO reached a significant milestone this month recording 9 years lost time injury free across its Western Australia Operations.

Peter Cook, ATIVO’s WA Regional Manager said this is an achievement which every single employee can be proud of.

“Everyone has contributed to this achievement, from our office staff and recruiters, to our safety advisers, our on-site supervisors and teams,” Peter Cook said.

“Nine years LTI free is the result of the company’s excellent safety culture and leadership, and a relentless focus on zero harm.

“As our clients have high safety standards, it is essential as a maintenance provider we align with them and communicate well.

“What we must do now is maintain our focus and continually strive to improve our safety leadership and behaviours.”

The ATIVO brand name was only established in 2008, however as a member of the SKILLED Group, the company has been providing maintenance services throughout Western Australia for nine years now.
The company has maintained its lost time injury free performance across all its service offerings from contract maintenance at mining, processing and port facilities through to major shutdowns and the supply of supervised work crews to support clients’ one-off projects.

To ensure ATIVO not only maintains, but continues to improve its safety performance, the company is now in the process of rolling out SKILLED Group’s Golden Rules. This is a program that looks at high risk activities and promotes a refreshed and re-focused safety approach.
