ATIVO contracted to deliver plant dismantle in SA

ATIVO has been awarded a major contract with Boral to close down a plasterboard manufacturing plant in South Australia. This project will involve converting the existing plant into a warehouse operation for a new tenant.

The scope includes:

  1. Removal of a plasterboard manufacturing line from its building.
  2. Decommission a plaster mill and demolish the surrounding building.

The above works include:

  • A fully managed project solution
  • Mechanical and Electrical decommissioning activities.
  • Removal & Cleaning of Equipment
  • Cataloguing Equipment
  • Termination & removal of the sites equipment Electrical services

ATIVO is very experienced in plant decommissions and has performed similar works for companies such as Ridley Agri Products and Bekaert Australia Steel Cord.

The work is expected to commence in the last week of December and continue through to March 2009.
