ATIVO Facilities Management Crew Receive Exceptional Performance Review from Geoscience Australia

ATIVO maintenance & project services have a long relationship with Geoscience Australia having held the Facilities Management Contract from the opening of the building in February 1998. Since this time ATIVO have successfully re-tendered the contract in February 2005, with the initial term due to expire on 30 June 2010. As part of the current contract there is an option to extend for a further 3 years which would see the date extended to 30 June 2013.
A review of ATIVO's performance was undertaken by Geoscience Australia in November of 2009 to determine if the contract extension would be granted. Geoscience Australia engaged two individual Facilities Management specialist consultants to undertake the review, each concentrating on specific areas of performance. The first, engaged to assess ATIVO's value for money against the industry norms and similar facilities. The second, to evaluate our services in relation to the contract requirements.
Both reports were very favourable to ATIVO's performance at Geoscience Australia, rating our services overall as very good and exceptional value for money. As a result ATIVO have been offered the 3 year contract extension which will commence on July 1 2010. These results have been achieved by a combined effort from the ATIVO crew located on site at Geoscience Australia.
