Decommission of Plasterboard Manufacturing Plant

Early January to late February 2009

Scope

This project consisted of the decommission and removal of a plasterboard manufacturing site.

Tasks undertaken included:

 

  • Removal of all electrics, asbestos, roofing, gas lines and all structures
  • Clean down of Plaster Mill and surrounding plant and equipment
  • Dismantle of Silos and Transfer Equipment
  • Extract salvageable materials and remove remainder from site

Crew

An ATIVO Project Supervisor and specialised team of C10 Fitters and Electricians mobilised from our Melbourne Office for this work.

Outcome

There were zero LTI’s and MTI’s.

Project was completed 3 weeks early. .
